CardCircle is a free card-game site played with play money. It keeps as little about you as it can.

Without an account

Solo games need no account. Every visit starts with 1,000 chips. Your stats and settings stay in your own browser and are never sent to us.

What we store if you sign in

• Your email address, to send you sign-in links. If you sign in with Google, the only thing we keep from your Google account is that address.
• Your username, which other players see on the leaderboards.
• Your Ranked credits for each game, when you last claimed your daily credits, and a history of every change to your credits.
• Your latest Ranked game in each game, so you can pick it up after a refresh. Each new game replaces the last.

Playing with friends online

• As a guest, you have no account: we only set a cookie in your browser that keeps your place at a table. The name you type is kept while you're at the table.
• At a table, the other players see your username or guest name (with a "guest" tag), whether you're online and ready, and your quick reactions. We keep who sat at the table and the game's cards and moves while the table is open, and delete all of it when the table closes.
• Ranked Blackjack tables: your bets and wins go into your credit history, as in Ranked.
• Wrong table codes: to stop people guessing codes, we briefly count wrong tries against your account and IP address. The count is kept in memory only and is gone within minutes.

Why

• Your email lets you sign in without a password.
• Credits and their history keep Ranked play and the leaderboards fair, and let us fix mistakes.
• Game records let you pick up a game after a refresh and let the server check every move.

Your credit history is kept while your account exists.

What we don't do

No ads, no tracking, no analytics, and we never sell or share your data. The credits are play money: they can't be bought, sold or cashed out.

Who handles it for us

• Cloudflare hosts the site and runs our database and sign-in. Your account data stays in the EU.
• Resend sends our sign-in emails.
• Google Fonts serves fonts to your browser.

Like any website, these services see your IP address when your browser connects to them.

Deleting your data

To have your account and everything above deleted, email cardcircle.games@gmail.com from the address you sign in with. We'll delete it within 30 days and reply when it's done.
